I was in the mood for some coloring last night, so I decided to enter 's contest... and all of you should enter, too! You have to design a master or mistress that the character on the right (Deacon) was recently sold to and now works for. Here's the link to the journal for the full summary: [link]

Anyway, I haven't come up with a name or developed a good background story yet since I colored this and then went right to bed, but I wanted to post it now so I wouldn't keep forgetting to until I leave for my trip when I won't have my laptop with me for 2 months. NAME: Anuj (means "born later; younger" in Sanskrit
DESCRIPTION: Anuj is a spoiled son of a king from a distant, tropical land. Unfortunately for him, he is not the oldest of the king's sons, and so he will never assume the throne. Made bitter by this, he is a very controlling ruler of his province. One day a merchant selling illegal goods in the capital city is arrested and brought to Anuj for sentencing. He immediately orders execution. However, the merchant is cunning and knows exactly how to appeal to him. The merchant offers to sell Anuj a new servant in exchange for the preservation of his life. Some time before, Deacon had been kidnapped by a gang of thieves and was now traveling with the merchant as a slave. Prince Anuj agrees to the proposal on condition that the merchant would leave the province and never return after the transaction, so the merchant sold Deacon to the prince, and then left as he promised. Then slowly, over time, the prince begins to fall in love with his servant, which he must hide from everyone to keep up his emotionless, controlling appearance.
