NC Zoo - greater roadrunner

These photos were taken when I first came down to North Carolina for my job interview in January. I wanted to do something outdoorsy but I didn't feel like bringing a bunch of gear with me, so I decided on a trip to the zoo in Asheboro with my nicer camera.

This (female?) roadrunner was in the Sonora Desert (now just Desert) enclosure. I'm surprised how well this shot turned out since the roadrunner was behind glass.
