IT'S GOOSE WEEK!
Sightly different than Duck Week. This time I just chose 7 of my favorite photographs I've ever taken of Canada Geese (I have a lot of them because I love geese) to share. So here they are!

Day 7: Last one for this week. This is the same goose as the photo yesterday, but from a different angle. It was sleeping with one eye open, which was kind of funny since when viewed from the front birds' faces generally tend to look angry. Definitely was keeping an eye on me and everyone else in the park, though.

I found out that birds can actually shut down half their brain. So, literally, they can sleep with one eye open. One side of their brain is asleep while the other is wide awake.
