Now this is one I knew the name of.... It's a type of plumeria, also known as the puu kahea. Of all the flowers I saw on the island, this was by far my favorite one. I really enjoyed the depth of color on each petal. And of course, they smelled very good. When we first checked into the hotel they had decorated our table and the bathroom with a bunch of these all over the place. The bushes they came from were the privacy bushes of choice around the property, so there was no shortage of them to look at.
