So here is the small building in which I took the photos from the past three days. Looks pretty good for being 111 years old and mostly made out of wooden planks, right? Around the corner from this angle is the carcass of a seal that has been lying there for about 100 years and is now pretty much mummified. I have pictures of that, too, but they won't be part of this because they are not very attractive. McMurdo Station is in the background along with some of the wind turbines, which were one of the main sources of power there.
