So two days ago I showed a picture of the Transantarctic Mountains as I was facing them, and yesterday I showed a picture of what the landscape looked like directly behind me. Today, I am showing what is in between. This perspective was from the ground, so the mountains seem a lot further away than they did in the plane. And also, those clouds over there were the first clouds I had seen all day. 3 days after this moment, my time in the field was finished and I was on my way back to McMurdo.
